Your tasks
This position will assist in all transportation functions in office and on the dock are by creating all related paperwork for shipments for domestic and international. Responsible for contact with carriers for pickup of orders via phone, fax, email or web-site.
Assist in routing all outbound freight on the correct carriers for cost effectiveness
Complete all shipping trransactions in the SAP, TMS system
Use carrier web sites to obtain rates, check transit and generate paperwork
Perform all data entry for arvato shipments
Our requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
3-4 Years experience in the Shipping/Transporation Clerk Field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of SAP/TMS systems
Experience with carrier shipping systems websites
Strong organizational skills
Fluent on internet and in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of the documentation of shipments.
