As an ADI Transportation Manager, you will be commissioned to plan, direct and coordinate the daily transportation operation of our Dallas Distribution facility by directing the activities relating to dispatching, routing, shipping, tracking transportation and other transportation issues and oversight. This incumbent should be able to specifically address his/her current and previous Transportation Management career accomplishments.

As a Distribution Center - "Transportation Manager", you will assume the following responsibilities:
Design/develop/implement the ADI transportation network by identifying location requirements, complementing distribution center physical capabilities, creating processes/procedures to ensure efficiency and internal compliance and follow up on all transport issues by responsible parties.
Manage the delivery/distribution of all materials internally/externally by identifying/selecting transportation carriers and negotiating contract rates/terms and conditions.
Manage the freight payment process to ensure timely and accurate payments to contracted carriers and to also ensure the proper business controls are in place to audit freight invoices for accuracy and validity.
Resolve carrier-related issues by establishing metrics and reviewing performance with carrier managements while negotiating contract discrepancies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business
10+ years of freight experience - small parcel (Ground/ Air) and LTL industry
5+ years of budget management
Additional Qualifications:
Working knowledge of CTPAT
Ability to think strategically and execute
Strong presentation skills (verbal and written)
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at one time
Proven persuasive, negotiation and leadership skills
Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint proficiency skills are a must
DOT Certification preferred
