Job Title:  Transportation Sales Executive

Job Description:  A Transportation Sales Executive is a multi-faceted employee that will be involved in every aspect of growth in our Middle Tennessee branch, including the freight movement cycle.  You will have daily contact with customers and carriers and will be expected to develop business relationships with key personnel from other industry leaders.  This position is dynamic requiring professionalism and a customer service oriented mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Rate negotiations

·         Order tracking

·         Answering incoming calls

·         Make outgoing calls

·         Develop current and new customer base

·         Develop carrier base

Job requirements:

·        2+ years of 3PL or trucking industry experience

·         Strong organization and time management skills

·         Ability to use basic math skills under time pressure

·         Effective customer service skills

·         Problem solving capability

·         Strong decision making ability

·         PC skills (Microsoft Office)

·         Ability to cold call on both carriers and customers
