General Description:
Under the direction of the Market Manager, the Recruiter is responsible for developing a pipeline of therapists who are willing to accept travel assignments. The Recruiter will maintain daily communication with the Market Manager and Regional Staffing Manager. Additional daily/weekly requirements are as follows:
- Contact candidate leads, mail application packets, and follow-up with candidates on a regular basis
- Process daily and weekly reports: Daily Activity Log, Weekly Hot List, Weekly Pipeline List and Competitive Analysis
- Attend and participate in weekly staff and marketing meetings
Essential Job Functions:
· Assist Market Manager in organizing, preparing and implementing recruiting and retention programs
· Use professional recruiting strategies to secure employment contracts from potential traveling therapists
· Recruit through various sources, to include our database, internet, referrals, advertisements, direct mail, conventions, and cold calling to homes and departments when necessary
· Review resumes and interview candidates to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills
· Maintain current knowledge of JCAHO standards as they relate to the recruiting function
· Properly match qualified candidates to open job orders and update Weekly Hot List and Weekly Pipeline List
· Assist RSM with coordination and negotiation of terms for first assignment
· Maintain candidate activity in company database (TRM)
· Maintain and effective relationship with the Regional Staffing Managers in an effort to place candidates
· Assist Regional Staffing Managers in prospecting new business with referrals from candidates and current employees, as well as placing marketing calls as needed
· Place a minimum of 25 outbound calls per day, 125 per week
· Identify and secure new sources of candidates
Manage therapists that have been placed on assignment:
· Maintain an ongoing relationship with working therapists
· Keep thorough notes in company database of all contact made with employees
· Communicate with Regional Staffing Managers regarding possible extensions for employees, or other job opportunities for once the employees have completed assignments
· Resolve problems as they arise with assistance of Market Manager
Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Talents:
· Knowledge of principles and procedures for candidate recruitment, selection, compensation and benefits
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Internet Job Boards
· Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in recruiting, staffing, production methods and human resources
· Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition
· Knowledge of principles and methods for selling recruiting services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales management systems
· Ability to work effectively independently and with other team members
· Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
· Must show attention to detail
· Bachelor’s Degree is required
