Travel and Logistics Coordinator
The Travel and Logistic Coordinator will report to the Program Control Office (PCO) Operations Director and will assist with responsibilities as requested. This position requires solid communication and problem solving skills. The candidate must possess the following skills:
Ability to analyze and assist with the creation of and compliance with a wide variety of CGI, Business Unit (BU), CMMI Level 3, and project policies and procedures across numerous management and project execution disciplines Familiarity with IT system implementations and the project SDLC a plus Possession of excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interact with all levels of the CGI, subcontractor, and customer organization Ability to support and prepare content for BU and CMMI required meetings and reviews Ability to create and present concise and accurate business cases around operational issues Ability to assist with the sub-contractor management of the project in coordination with the CGI contracts group Ability to negotiate within CGI and with vendors in order to obtain services and products for the project Ability to coordinate travel for a large project. Familiarity with Federal Travel Regulations is a plus Ability to assist members with their travel, space, and general project execution needs across a diverse geography (anywhere from 3 to 30 concurrent locations) Outgoing and proactive in order to accomplish tasks Possession of excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data and effectively multitask Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and with SharePoint Flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced environment Attention to detail Experience training project members Experience using project management Tools including Project and SharePoint a plus
