Position Description: ValleyCrest Tree Care Services provides award-winning arborist services on a wide range of properties throughout the nation. Rather than focusing on isolated management techniques, our certified arborists approach the tree as an entire biological system ensuring that our services preserve our customer’s trees, improve safety, reduce liability and protect our client’s landscape investment.
We currently have a full time position available for an Account Manager in our Tree Maintenance Division. Successful Account Managers are proactive leaders, have a strong work ethic and are self starters who enjoy interacting with the public and our employees.
Account Managers are responsible for: •Managing production for our high quality service including understanding basic horticultural concepts and working efficiently •Managing Tree Care Services’ crews so the business can be grown into a substantive, stand alone Tree Care Services P&L •Building an outstanding production team – developing employees and working with employees to build and support a team environment •Maintaining crew safety and efficient work practices through training and supervision •Ensuring crews have the proper equipment to do their jobs and that equipment is properly maintained •Selling enhancement services in order to improve site conditions; coordinating with other branch employees and customers to ensure that enhancement work is completed successfully, on budget and on time •Ensuring that customers are completely satisfied through effective communication, relationship building and regular site visits •Scheduling work and writing work orders •Partnering with the Business Developer to ensure complete customer follow-up after job completion and that all work performed meets client expectations •Submitting final paperwork to accounting for billing and collection •Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting the Company culture, in particular, regarding safety, quality and customer service
Position Requirements: •ISA Certified Arborist •Solid understanding of financial statements, capital planning and personnel development •Strong oral and written communication skills •Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook •Analytical skills •Strong work ethic •Ability to prioritize job duties •Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment •Customer service experience – able to identify and resolve customer concerns •Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
