ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Finance's primary responsibilities include financial reporting, corporate taxes, accounts payable, billing and collections, budget development and monitoring, underwriting, cash management, risk management, SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions activity, payroll, disaster recovery planning, internal audit and investor relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will handle adjustments, cancellations or corrections to clear edit errors to the Tricare Encounter Data (TED) records as required by contract to ensure financial transactions are complete and correctly recorded. Back up other team members through cross training and workflow support. Aid team in the identification of barriers to performance using quality improvement methodologies such as root cause analysis, process mapping, and issue prioritization. Process TED data requirements by assuring data integrity, accuracy of information, timely submissions and management notifications when results are outside of expected parameters. Identify and resolve TED correction issues and errors. Assist internal teams with benchmark testing of the TED system. Maintain departmental policies and procedures. Back up other team members through cross training and workflow support. Special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent years relevant work experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and organize
Works and communicates efficiently with team members at all levels within the company.
Performs well under pressure within team and individual setting.
Internal drive to finish work by deadlines (self motivated).
Experience with software applications such as Access, Excel or PC based database tools.
Excellent communication and customer service skills (i.e. presentation and written, listening, phone skills)
Effective positive and professional communication with internal and external individuals in various functional areas at all levels of management.
Proven ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently as well as work independently.
Knowledge of PBM or health care industry preferred.
Ability to work cross-functionality to resolve client issues.
Ability to manage timeliness and meet tight client deadlines.
The candidate selected for this position is required to successfully complete security clearances which require the following: U.S. Citizenship, a federal criminal background check, and a determination of credit trustworthiness. Applicants will be required to provide verifying information upon hire for submittal for clearance.
