Job Description
Truck Driver, Tanker/Hazmat
Local hauls! Minimal to no overnight travel!
Locations: Oklahoma, East Texas, Central Texas, South East Texas, and North Texas (state geographic preference on application)
Our drivers transport crude oil from field locations to pipeline injection points, and normally work 4 or 5, 10 to 12 hour shifts starting at 5:00AM (days) or 5:00PM (nights). Our drivers have local hauls, and are home daily with limited to no overnight travel required. The duties of our Crude Transport Drivers include but are not limited to safely transporting crude oil, testing crude oil to assure quality, maintaining vehicle to comply with all D.O.T. regulations, providing high level of service to customers, complying with all company safety rules, policies and procedures, and representing Sunoco Logistics with professionalism.
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or GED, 21 years of age or older, Class A CDL with tanker and Haz-Mat endorsements, minimum of two years verifiable tractor-trailer experience or a graduate of an approved truck driving school. Must have a clean driving record and be able to clear a background check pursuant to local, state and federal rules regarding transportation of hazardous materials, and pass Sunoco Logistics’ D.O.T. physical, drug screen, and obtain a D.O.T. medical card.
