Chester R. England began hauling potatoes in northern Utah and southern Idaho in 1920. The consummate entrepreneur, he found innovative ways to move food and freight throughout the Intermountain West in the days where paved roads and trucking were still very new ideas.

Joined later by his sons Gene and Bill, C.R. England became the first carrier to offer 72 hour coast to coast refrigerated food delivery. In the days before the interstate system, this was unheard of.

Truck Driving Instructor

CR England, one of the nations largest refrigerated trucking companies is looking for an Instructor for our Trainer Class to assist prospective students at our driving school.

Prospective trainers are taught how to teach what it takes to be a successful CR England driver.

 

The Instructor will focus on:

  • Lifestyle Adjustment Instruction
  • Evaluation Instruction
  • Communication Instruction
  • Evaluation of the prospective trainers abilities, attitude, and participation
  • School and Company standards
  • Teaching Backing skills and Driving evaluations

Minimum Requirements:

  • Class A CDL
  • One year recent OTR tractor/trailer experience
  • Excellent safety and communication skills.
  • Must meet all the criteria of a Experienced Driver by Driver Recruiting.   
  • Must have great people skills. 
  • Willingness to learn a new skill 
  • Professional appearance demeanor and behavior.
