This is a contract position in Cary. Some travel overseas may be required.
The most important skills are CSS, C# .NET, JQuery and JSON
UI CSS expert with a strong programming background in .NET with C#. The qualifications for the position would be the following:
4 year degree in Computer Science, HCI and/or related degree
· 15 years experience in the computer technology industry, 5 of which include experience with user interface design and 5 of which also include team leadership.
· Microsoft certifications on various technologies are preferred
· A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions
· Has experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
· Presents fluency in best practices for information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
· Demonstrates familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for web and applications
· Exceptional using UI technologies such as CSS, HTML, C#, .NET, Flash, Flex, Silverlight, PhotoShop or PhotoImpact, Visio, jQuery, JSON, etc.
· Experience with managing multiple, time-critical projects.
· A high degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
