This front-line position is responsible for administrative support including physician registration, precertification, and verification of financial responsibility. The position is also responsible for inbound and outbound telephone contact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answers incoming calls from clients (patients, physicians, insurance companies, etc.) Performs outbound calling to physicians, insurance companies and other clients to follow up on missing information and financial obligations
Data entry and call notes, completed accurately and timely in the Meditrack system
General administrative duties; ie: faxing, filing, typing
Communicates with sales, billing, etc.
Reviews insurance benefits and patient requirements that are applicable Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
One year of call center experience; preferably in health care
Minimum of two years of consecutive work history Knowledge and skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Multi task and adapt to change in positive manner
Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel
Hold highest level of confidentiality
Administrative support experience, preferably in a physician's office, hospital or home health care industry
