Job Requirements:
Skills: Specializing in - Transmission and High Voltage Line Engineering experience.
The Engineers will have a degree in engineering and the certifications they have are different than the Designers.  The Designers will mainly perform detailed drafting work.

Role: They will be supporting construction, outages, material evaluation, modeling, route of transmission, and permits.

Project:  The main reason for all the growth is because of the push for Renewable Energy. Currently they do not have transmission to bring wind energy into the load centers. They wanted to go to open access years ago but couldn’t expand on it because the companies weren’t sure how to get paid but they have figured that out now, so there’s a huge push for the new infrastructure.

The contractors will generally be working closely in a team environment but they will not normally ask the contractors to manage a team. If the contractor has extensive experience and experience managing they are not opposed to it, but it is not typically what has happened in the group.
