Job Description for US Deposits SME

This position requires the individual to work as a SME on various areas of Retail Banking including Deposits Accounts, Retirement Accounts, Clearing, ACH, Overdraft, ATM, Internet Banking and identify gaps within the System vis-à-vis the best practices in the market and Competitor Systems. The individual will work closely with Business Team on the client side and also Business Analysts internally to develop detailed Requirement and Functional Specifications for the above Business areas. The individual will drive the Development of Software through working closely with Offshore Development and Testing teams and guide them from a Business perspective, as needed. The individual will need to develop and review test plans, and if needed execute them as well.  The individual will spend a considerable amount of time working hands-on with the system and will be required to provide training to other Business Analysts and Client Business Experts on the System and be engaged with the implementation of the software at client locations in US. The individual will also work with the Sales team on gaining client prospects in the region.

Job  Requirements for US Deposits SME

·        Candidate should have excellent knowledge and Doman expertise on Retail Banking including Deposits Accounts, Retirement Accounts, Clearing, ACH, Overdraft, ATM and Internet banking ideally gained through experience working with an established Core Banking Product Vendor in the Retail Deposits market and/ or with Tier 1 / Tier 2 Banking Institutions in Retail Banking.

·        Candidate should have 15+ years of relevant work experience. Experience working with or implementing Core Banking Vendor Products is highly desirable.

·        Should be knowledgeable on Best Practices followed in Core Banking Systems .

·        Should be ability to prepare Requirement Specification and Functional Specification Documents for the above areas.

·        Should have a proven track record as a Retail Banking Business Analyst and should have the ability to map Client Business Requirements with System capabilities.

·        Should possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

·        Must have willingness and ability to travel as required. International travel to India and to Countries neighboring North America will be required.
