The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) located at the Washington Navy Yard, DC, has a primary mission to strengthen Navy and Marine Corps combat readiness worldwide through facilities lifecycle support focused on the Fleet, the Warfighter, and the Families.  The Command employs a full spectrum of talent including Engineering and Acquisition professionals, Program Analysts, administrative, technical and support specialists, and skilled trades.  The Total Force Directorate supports the mission by management and execution of all Manpower, Personnel, and People programs throughout the Command. 


 


About the Job:  


NAVFAC is now recruiting for a senior management and program analyst position (NSPS equivalent to GS-14/15) to serve as Utilities and Energy Systems Manager in the Public Works Directorate.  The incumbent serves as the Headquarters’ point of contact on matters related to all utilities and energy systems' execution.  Systems include, CIRCUITS, metering, related business management system (BMS) processes, UEM industrial control systems, and information technology (IT) systems.  Additionally, the incumbent works across business and product lines on issues related to Utilities and Energy Systems including for example, the infrastructure condition assessment program (ICAP), Maximo, and sustainable design.  The incumbent monitors progress over all of the utilities and energy systems, and reports progress and problems to the Utilities and Energy Product Line Leader on a routine basis.  This is an NSPS covered position equivalent to grade GS-14/15.  Permanent Change of Station is authorized.
