Bestica is currently recruiting for an exceptional U/X Designer to join our client’s team. Our client has created a digital publishing platform that allows users to easily interact with mobile devices.

• Works with VP Product/Creative on our cloud based web-app on UI/UX development

• Create and iterate prototypes

• Plan and execute UX testing of prototypes, monitor user feedback, and A/B testing.

• Work with engineers balancing technical limitations and effort with timeframes and ideal designs

• Support Agile development and lean startup processes to help the company learn quickly and effectively.

• Research the latest presentation layer technologies, UX concepts, best practices, online trends, and provide recommendations for the team to consider.

• 5 years of industry experience in interactive design, information architecture or visual for web applications

• You’re passionate about UX and designing/building great products.

• Can give your own perspective and ideas 

• Creative & visual design skills. You have a portfolio demonstrating a breadth and experience in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design as well as a thorough understanding of good design process is a requirement.

• Can scale wireframes from low to hi-fi: whiteboard photos to gorgeous design specs.

• Operates efficiently and effectively given limited oversight.

• Believes and participates in the “marketplace of ideas” where the best idea wins, but where it is most often synthesized from the input of many.

• You enjoy working with an agile software teams. You have direct experience with Agile/XP/Scrum/Lean software development practices.

• You have the demonstrated ability to design user experiences that your team members can readily turn into products.

• You have the proven ability to treat others with respect, courtesy, and a sense of humor. You can context-switch between projects.
