The Field Service Engineer will administer on-site customer service activities including technical, clinical and business matters with an assigned customer base. The FSE will also support the sales organization; participate in program implementations, support the ISR in plan renewal sales and meet customer retention objectives. The FSE will provide in field OJT training to new FE’s, critical account support and assist the Regional Service Manager.


Job Description

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) administers on-site customer service activities including technical, clinical and business matters with assigned customer base. • Performs installation/removal of ultrasound equipment hardware, software, and network.
• Performs first-call remedial repairs and Quality Assurance Audits of ultrasound equipment.
• Sells renewal Support Plans.
• Provides on-site support of sales demos, clinical trials and trade shows.
• Utilizes inventory effectively.
• Maintains field inventory, parts usage, and timely return of defective material.


Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus four years of similar experience, or equivalent.
• Problem solving skills and technical ability with field experience preferred.
• Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills, preferably demonstrated in a customer service environment.
• Proven selling and presentation skills.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Windows-based computer applications.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency in all basic ultrasound applications.
