Chartis has an opportunity for an Underwriter within the Excess Casualty – Corporate Accounts division. Duties of the position are as follows:
The underwriter will be responsible for underwriting a book of business, both new and renewals, for middle market and commercial accounts. Additional responsibilities include marketing and developing broker relationships in an assigned territory.
Job Requirements:
Three to five years of experience in Umbrella Excess or a Primary Casualty background.
Knowledge of Southeast brokers a plus.
