Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews and decisions credit applications within assigned authority. Recommends decisions and obtains concurrence for loans outside of authority level. Gathers and analyzes financial and other information to support structuring and approval of loans. Documents justification for decisions. Analyzes collateral, performs calculations and required analyses. Recommends structure of loan request and approves or denies loans within credit limit authority. Ensures compliance with appropriate company and or secondary market investor standards. Decisions modifications and is knowledgeable of the subordination process. Supports team and division goals. Provides quality customer service. Recommends process improvements. Seeks training for personal and professional development. May provide on the job training to new employees and internal customers, as applicable.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years real estate secured underwriting experience in a high volume, judgmental underwriting environment to include: debt servicing analysis, credit bureau analysis, collateral valuation analysis, cash flow analysis, income analysis utilizing pay stubs and W2's and determination of the reasonableness of applicants stated employment and income. Demonstrated ability to work under aggressive loan and Regulatory audit quality requirements. Proven ability to communicate, problem solve and negotiate with external and internal customers. Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and apply Consumer loan Regulatory and Compliance requirements. Excellent understanding of current fraud trends and the ability to detect and prevent identity theft and fraudulent activity which could result in monetary loss to the bank. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient PC Skills and ability to multi-task is essential. Ability to work independently or with a team. AH, Mobius, Emerald systems experience preferred. High School Diploma required, BS or BA preferred. *Collection background a plus* Monday Through Friday: 9:00-6:00 or 10:00-7:00 Occasional Saturdays and overtime
