The Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant will work within the Underwriting team providing support to the Underwriter.  The professional will complete underwriting functions and confirm related information.  Provide information for underwriters to review, completes requests for information, process correspondence and diary for underwriter’s requests.

Responsibilities:

Receives applications and records information in New Business log.

Establishes correct policy information and delivers to the underwriter.

Reviews renewal polices and confirms underwriting criteria.

Orders inspection reports and audits.

Completes correspondence.

Provides exceptional customer service to our agents.

Work well within a team environment.

Education:

Bachelors degree or prior underwriting work experience.

Insurance related courses helpful.

Additional Information:

Full time position 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday

8:00 a.m – 4:15 p.m.
