JOB SUMMARY: The UniGroup Program Manager is responsible for the successful growth and execution of the UniGroup strategic alliance program. The successful candidate must interact well with cross-functional teams internally and externally to ensure the successful implementation of strategies, tactics and processes in across sales, customer service, event management, public relations, legal, finance, marketing, training, IT systems and other business functions as they relate to the success of the program. A strong command of diverse business disciplines and attention to detail are critical.


 






DUTIES


 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


 



  • Develops and execute marketing strategies and initiatives to facilitate 3,500 moves from the UniGroup strategic alliance program during fiscal 2010. This may include but is not limited to webinars, industry trade shows, UniGroup agent meetings, sales tool development, public relations initiatives and more.
  • Develops and manages project plans to facilitate growth and flawless execution.
  • Facilitates the execution and monitoring of the labor referral program, ensuring lead targets are exceeded and service levels are met for the PODS customer base.
  • Tracks, monitors and reports on container rental and revenue targets.
  • Tracks, monitors and reports on service level compliance standards for PODS and UniGroup services.
  • Develops and monitors additional business metrics to measure success as required
  • Manages, tracks and reports on monthly P & L for Partnership Director
  • Coordinates input and review from PODS legal to ensure antitrust compliance on all relevant activities.
  • Works with revenue management to facilitate pricing strategies.
  • Meets with UniGroup agent groups across the country as required to drive program adoption.
  • Develops educational content with the training department to encourage local sales growth and program compliance.
  • Works with PODS franchisees to activate sales in local markets as required.
  • Evaluates, designs and implements business processes across functional groups to ensure successful program facilitation and monitoring.

QUALIFICATIONS


Education and/or Experience:


·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required


·         MBA or related graduate degree is preferred


·         Minimum of four years prior Marketing and client/partner relationship management preferred


 


Language/Math  Ability :


·              General knowledge of basic math skills, ability to add, subtract and calculate fractions/percentages


·              Ability to interpret and manage financial documents including cost/pricing, profit and loss and others


·              Strong written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively.


·              Excellent command of the English language, good use of grammar skills. Bilingual skills helpful.


·              Polished presentation skills; ability to convey ideas and internalize input to drive program adoption and improvement.


 


Reasoning Ability:


§   Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions


 


Computer Skills:


·              PC proficiency and intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, sufficient to create and maintain spreadsheets, documents, letters, slide presentations and respond to email.


·              Knowledge of MS Project is preferred.


·              Knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, PODS’ proprietary software as well as other applications.


 


Supervision Received/Exercised:


·         Perform duties under direction of marketing partnership director


 


Travel Requirements:



  • Some travel as required (up to 15%) to drive program adoption and facilitate corporate-to-corporate planning and execution.

Hours / Shift:



  • Normal business hours Monday through Friday; flexibility with overtime and weekends as the business need arises.
