Nolan Power Group is a leader in the DC sales and service industry.  We are currently looking for Uninterruptible Power Supply Technicians to cover installation, troubleshooting and repair projects throughout Louisiana and other territories.

Uninterruptible Power Supply Technicians are responsible for installation, service, testing and maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supply systems. 

Qualifying person will have strong electrical background and knowledge.  This person should have a strong electronics background and be comfortable troubleshooting to component level.  This person may have military, consumer, or medical electronic repair background.  Ideal person would have worked for one of several Uninterruptible Power Supply manufacturers as a field technician.  This person also must be available for travel regularly.

REQUIREMENTS: 

·         Minimum 2 year Technical schools in electronics or other electrical equipment

·         Minimum 2 years in electronic or electrical troubleshooting

·         Minimum 1 year Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems

·         Working knowledge of

·         Microsoft Office

·         Specific industry standards (UL, CSA, ISO)

·         Good attitude and work ethic

·         Past work experience in DC power for the cellular or utility industry a plus

·         Mechanical ability based on past work history

·         Ability to work on ladders up to 15ft., demonstrate manual dexterity, and carry loads up to 60 lbs

·         Work well within a team demonstrating leadership abilities

·         Have satisfactory written/reading communication skills as well as good customer service skills

·         Be adaptable to changing environments

·         Valid driver’s license with safe driving record. Plus ability to drive company truck .
