The Unit Director provides leadership and direction for specific patient care unit(s). The Unit Director exemplifies the ROPH mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with ROPH policies and procedures. The Unit Director provides leadership and direction for Same Day Surgery, OR and PACU. This candidate will reporting to the Nursing Director/Vice President of Patient Care Services

Candidate must have a State of Illinois RN license and a Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field.  A Master's Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred. Current CPR and ACLS is required. Professional nursing certification within two years of hire. Other skills include: analytical ability; the ability to work in complex clinical or administrative programs; communication skills needed to teach, lead, and persuade others, and the ability to interact effectively with others in difficult situations.
