University/College Sales Representative

Roll International Corporation (www.roll.com) is a privately-held consumer products corporation with several operating companies representing a diverse cache of premium brands. This includes FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Teleflora, Paramount Citrus, Suterra and Paramount Farming. The Roll Services Organization, LLC is the Sales and Merchandising team for our POM Wonderful and the Paramount Farms products. POM Wonderful is the world’s largest producer of fresh pomegranates, and has a variety of healthy juices and teas. Paramount Farms is the world’s largest grower and processor of pistachios and almonds, which includes our Wonderful Pistachio brand, Everybody’s nuts, Sunkist pistachios, and Almond Accents.
Primary function is to secure distribution, grow profitable sales of Paramount Farms and POM Wonderful products for resell on College/University Campus and retail outlets in close proximity to schools. Increase trademark exposure on campus and in retail outlets, for the following products Wonderful Pistachios, Almonds, Almond Accents, Everybody’s Nuts, Pom Wonderful Juice, Tea, POMx Coffee and other products as identified by management. Develop and maintain key relationships/rapport with College/University, Retail Outlet, Food Service decision makers that impact or are related to distribution of companies’ products.
This person could be located in BOSTON, NY, PA or NJ.
- Develop and maintain intimate knowledge of company products especially health benefits and lifestyle advantages offered by products. Develop with respective companies marketing departments correlative use occasions for the target College/University and related demographics in the area of targeted schools.
- Actively make cold calls on College/University including but not limited to Food Service contractors, College/University cafeteria and or purchasing departments, Fraternity and Sorority locations, Athletic departments and retail outlets in close proximity to College/University
- Create sales presentations that are specific to the College/University needs for healthy food/beverage occasions using the knowledge of targeted College/University needs and distribution points.
- Gain knowledge of pricing and contractual requirements for the state and College/University in order to solicit and complete all RFQ (request for quotes), RFB (request for Bids) etc
- Identify and secure distribution of products at College/University special events, concerts, athletic activities, intramural activities including but not limited to off site locations/events
Job Requirements:
- Four year college degree.
- 2 to 4 years work experience with College/University special events, athletic department or food service company.
- Self motivated, outgoing, gregarious personality.
- Above average skills with Microsoft excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Travel 60% of the time overnight.
