SMSC’s corporate human resources team is looking for a University Relations Program Manager. The team is seeking a highly motivated individual to take global responsibility for the design and implementation of SMSC’s university relations, internship and entry level hiring programs. The candidate will also recruit for positions at all levels across North America and provide recruiting support to international colleagues.
This position will develop, support and maintain university relations and recruiting efforts, including contact with selected universities, attendance at career fairs and ongoing candidate contact. Additionally, the University Relations Program Manager will determine appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions, including the use of third party agencies, pre-screen resumes and evaluate potential candidates for all levels of positions, and oversee and manage the requisition process, including usage of our applicant tracking system.
Position Requirements and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
· Minimum of 4 years experience in a corporate recruiting function
· Minimum of 3 years experience recruiting in the technology sector
· Minimum of 2 years managing end to end creation, sourcing and hiring process for a book of requisitions
· Proven ability in usage of internal applicant tracking systems for approval of requisitions and the tracking and sourcing of candidates
· Experience with posting positions and sourcing candidates from internet job boards
· Travel of 25-35% required
