Unix / Linux Web Engineer

Description:
Volt Technical Resources currently has multiple opportunities for Web Engineers with strong Unix/Linux skills in the Phoenix area.

These opportunities are currently scheduled at 6 months, but do have the opportunity to extend to 12 months and beyond.

Engineers will be responsible for providing production support in a fast paced, high availability environment and will be responsible for maintaining the systems that employ scalable, advanced technologies and methods to integrate Web systems with existing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and debugging problems with http servers and have good working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Introscope, HP OPENVIEW, BMC Patrol.


Requirements:
5+ years of experience working as a Web Engineer in a Unix/Linux environment with an emphasis either on WebLogic or WebSphere.

3+ years of experience working with SunOne Web Servers (may consider candidates with stronger experience working with another http server, but must have some experience with SunOne)

3+ years of experience with WebLogic Administration - installation, configuration, tuning and deployment.

Expert level scripting experience in WLST, Jython and ANT.

Monitoring tools experience

Any experience working with the following is considered a plus: Oracle Portal, MQ Series, NDM, Webmethods, Siteminder Netegrity
