CIBER, Inc. is looking for a talented and motivated user experience designer to help create the next experience in enterprise applications for our client. You will be working within a relatively new team of user experience and visual designers to improve the applications used by retail and customer care support employees. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to help build out User Experience as a solid part of the product development lifecycle.
· Work closely with a cross-functional team to create polished, strategic products and feature enhancements.
· Understand business requirements and development constraints to design creative, simple, elegant solutions.
· Create wireframes for all new initiatives that will be used by our visual designers to create comps and redlines.
· Rapidly translate internal and external customer data and feedback into further iterations.
· Communicate best practices, design thinking and reasoning behind UX decisions to key stakeholders.
· Deliverables include user research translated to requirements, user task lists, annotated wireframes, and workflow diagrams.
· Work with other UX designers to maintain consistency across application(s) and solve cross-application design challenges.
Required Experience and Education
· 4+ years of experience designing user experiences for high-traffic consumer-facing products or successful enterprise products.
· Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodology.
· Exceptional user interface and experience design skills.
· An understanding of user-centered design disciplines and principles and the ability to design for future expansion of products.
· Demonstrate a high level of accountability, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to manage workload and achieve results.
· Have excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
· The ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex user design issues into clean, understandable solutions.
· Ability to interpret Product requirements documents from a user-centered perspective vs. a feature centered way
· Proficiency with standard prototyping tools such as paper, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. to create wireframes, low-mid fidelity prototypes, and communicate conceptual design concepts.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· BS or MS in UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent.
