We are currently seeking a User Interface Analyst for a full time permanent position with our client in Franklin Park, IL. The UI Analyst will create an optimal user experience for users of web based applications; work with designers and developers to create consistent functionality; test usability.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain wireframes and functional documents detailing functionality of applications
Create user requirements from business, functional requirements
Create and implement functional testing of multiple scenarios for web applications
Conduct usability tests and analyze results
Create recommendations for improving user experience
Maintain test scenarios and associated documentation
Technical Requirements
BS/BA degree in either: Computer Science, Human Factors, Web Design, or other related discipline
Experience in Agile methodology
Information Architect experience a plus
Knowledge of B2B, B2C, and B2B2C ecommerce sites, and the differences between them
Familiarity with concepts of web-based software applications
Experience in conducting usability studies and translating the findings into actionable recommendations
Familiarity with following software packages & development languages a plus: Adobe Photoshop, OmniGraffle / Microsoft Visio, HTML, XML, CSS, Object Oriented Programming Languages such as: Ruby or PHP, MS Office Suite
Strong interpersonal presentation and communication skills
