For Burrell Communications Group, the Vice-President/Group Director has overall responsibility for the strategic planning and execution of all public relations and media relations programs and assignments undertaken by a six-member engagement marketing team. As the chief agency contact for client P.R. matters, the V.P. provides leadership on projects and initiatives to meet client expectations with productive, measurable and profitable results.   The V.P. must understand and foster Burrell’s business models and those of its clients.  The V.P. sets the standard for high quality work and, though his/her stewardship, works diligently with the team to ensure that the standard is maintained.

Candidates must have 12 or more years of experience in engagement marketing and be competent in the following areas:  public relations, media relations, events management, integrated-marketing communications, promotions, and assessment/measurement, staff development and leadership.

We seek a team player with the competence and stamina to lead and develop work groups.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills and top-notch presentation skills are essential.

Prior agency experience, along with pharmaceutical and multi-cultural marketing experience, will be highly beneficial.
