PRESIDENT/CEO
Requires 5+ years experience in a top leadership position with a staff of senior & mid-management level direct reports. Broad based manufacturing background a must, preferably a metal-turning industrial environment. Requires a minimum of five years of full profit and loss accountability. This broad based experience will include thorough exposure to engineering, manufacturing, marketing, finance, human resources/labor relations. Knowledge should include specialty engineered products for OEM applications with experience in the manufacturer of material handling equipment preferred. Significant experience in a global organization, preferably reporting to an overseas based top executive.
This position requires someone to continue to build upon the company’s long history of success having established systems in place, but the President is expected to improve the systems through newer technology and methods to increase sales and profitability in challenging times. The President will drive accountability with the current management team drawing upon their broad based experience, to ensure that the organization is well positioned for growth in the future.
Requires high energy, engaging personality, collaborative orientation, get things done through team rather than an autocratic approach. Ability to assess talent, develop and drive short and long-range strategies/goals. Ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, one who presents a professional image but is approachable, adapts well to a less formal structure for the day to day operation.
