We have an immediate need for a VERITAS NetBackup Administrator
JOB DESCRIPTION
Contractor is needed as a VERITAS NetBackup Administrator. Solid operational background needed to engagement in maintaining and upgrading enterprise NetBackup environment to 6.x and integrating backups into the technical strategy for Disaster Recovery. Candidate should have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining NetBackup solutions in a large enterprise environment.
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent in real-work experience. Five (5) years IT professional with at least 2 years as a Storage/Backup Administrator, VERTIAS NetBackup 5.X or Higher (UNIX/Windows). Detailed knowledge of Enterprise Backup Solutions, Hardware Systems, and Disaster Recovery. superior organization skills and attention to detail, including documentation skills. Highly tuned problem solving and analytical skills a must. Experience in large Backup environment (10+ Master Servers, 1,000+ clients). Must be willing and able to obtain and keep security clearnace(s) as required.
