SUMMARY

The VMI Replenishment Analyst manages the VMI process, keeping VMI customers connected and engaged through continued communications regarding their inventory needs, service levels, and changing environment in support of Atkins products.  This position is responsible for maintaining all day to day functions including: filling customer orders, checking in inventory, completing the proper control reports, and contributing to sales growth.

This position receives and expedites all requests for promise date information regarding current backorders, future orders, and inquiries that may result in orders being secured. This central point of contact for information is critical to retain and encourage business from customers. These needs must be satisfied in an efficient, courteous, and accurate manner on a timely basis.

This role serves as the point of contact for operations and sales personnel and customers seeking VMI program production information. In this position, the VMI Replenishment Analyst performs an essential role in the chain of customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Manage and optimize Atkins products' performance at each CRP customer's distribution center, by minimizing inventory levels while maximizing service.


• Review and ensure accuracy of customer's EDI inventory data


• Review and validate forecasts to supply product to the right place at the right time.


• Review and validate orders before processing completes.


• Maximize efficiencies within the supply chain and truckload utilization.  Advise on trends and/or demand shifts that could impact the customer or the company. 


• Analyze, document and report to customer key inventory performance measurements, such as annual inventory turns and service level, as well as other customer requests

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Three to five years Customer Service or equivalent business experience, including VMI experience

• Working knowledge of order processing and the consumer products industry


• Strong analytical skills


• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills


• Ability to provide leadership and accountability for specified customer accounts.


• Ability to work independently in a multitask environment


• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)


• Good time management skills (organization and prioritization)


• Proven team player who helps create a results focused and motivating team environment


• Proficiency utilizing e-mail, company Web site and the Internet are required.  Must be willing to be trained in internal systems and computer programs.
