Cisco Engineer - Premier VAR - High End Cisco CCNP Level Resource Needed

Systems Engineer

Engineer that is proficient with Cisco. Preferred a Cisco Certified Engineer with experience in advance routing/switching, and voice. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Certification desired: CCNP

Experience with mid-scale to enterprise consulting and support. Excellent presentation and communication skills.  Experienced with Cisco implementation, installation, maintenance, upgrade and support. Experience with the following technologies helpful with Voip cucm/cucme, unity, express, connection, ipcc, gateways and protocols. Networking skills with various LAN/WAN technologies and configurations and protocols, routing protocols, multicasting, switch. Wireless skills desired are WLC, wism, surveys, wcs, deployments. Security- Basic firewalls, nat, vpn, acl configuration.

Hands on exposure to configuration and troubleshooting skills.

Additional experience with the following areas that would be considered a plus are  Microsoft product lines including Windows 2008, Active Directory, Exchange 2010 and VMware product line including VMware 4.x, and VMware View. Understanding of storage technologies SAN and NAS.

Needs to be comfortable with local travel.

They go to client sites to perform installs, upgrades and migrations and work with the latest technologies. We need to be ahead of our clients in technologies because we are the experts.

All of our clients are local. The majority of projects would be an hour from your home base and the rest typically a 2 hour drive. A car is provided to all of our Engineers so they don’t have to worry about mileage or maintenance of their personal vehicle.
