Our client, an established leader in business communication, is one of the largest privately held voice and data system integration companies in the Midwest. They have a tremendous selection of products and services and partnerships with the world’s top providers of business communications equipment and technology systems.
As a Major Account Executive you will build relationships with C-level Executives and IT professionals. It is important that you are able to understand their goals and objectives and what is preventing their organization from achieving them. Along with your sales support team, you will then develop a technology solution that addresses these issues. You will also need to provide a business case to the client while highlighting our company values. Territory available in Cincinnati. You will be working out of your home, and must live in your territory.
Our excellent sales support team ensures that you are able to spend the majority of your time productively making sales calls and closing new projects. Less time managing projects and paperwork; more time selling services that makes you money!
Key Success Factors:
Aggressive in establishing new business relationships
Prepare proposals and make presentations to executives
Develop business cases with ROI
Maintain consistent sales activity
Education/Skills and Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales success.
Direct selling experience within the industry (voice and data, VoIP, IP Telephony, data infrastructure)
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
Computer savvy with Microsoft Office Suite experience
Experience in selling to large corporate accounts preferred
Able and willing to travel up to 25% of the time
Proven business acumen necessary; IT infrastructure experience a plus
Skilled in making presentations to executives
Excellent communication and persuasion skills
Knowledge of the corporate decision-making process
