Client – A fast growing Multi Billion $ IT MNC employing over 20,000 employees globally with its competency in Major Verticals for IT Solutions and Services.

Opportunity Detail -

Position Summary: As a Director of Business Development you will have an exciting opportunity to exceed assigned pipeline and profit objectives, lead new business initiatives and processes and work closely with the VP and AVP of Sales in developing overall sales strategies for your geographic territory. You will also partner closely with Regional Executive leaders and directors in creating and implementing the sales processes, and aligning with regional operational goals.

 

Role and Responsibilities:  

  • This individual will be assigned to a specific industry vertical (Banking,Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, Telecom), charged with selling complex business and technology solutions to senior executives in Global 2000 companies within these industry segments.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with his or her clients and prospects, and meeting and exceeding revenue targets. The position requires a deep understanding of the domain in one or more of the industry verticals indicated, along with very strong written and oral communication skills, strong presentation capabilities, an attention to detail, and the ability to follow up relentlessly.
  • Successful candidates will be self-driven with an ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural and collaborative environment. Candidates should have a broad understanding of technology and its applicability to business in one or more industries, and be able to research a prospect company and develop solutions and win themes.  

We are looking at Hunters and here is what we would be looking for in a potential hunter -  

  • New business development - Targeting and adding new accounts to the company
  • Direct sales experience - The candidate should be directly selling IT consulting, outsourcing and off-shoring services and solutions.
  • IT Solutions and Services (Off shoring/Outsourcing/Near shoring)
  • He/She should be primarily focused on the respective industry vertical that he is submitted against.

  • Technology / BA/BS is required for this position. MBA preferred.
