Our Mitchell Medical Business Unit, based out of San Diego, California, provides software products and services that automate the review and repricing of medical bills for automobile medical injuries. Using these solutions, property & casualty insurance and healthcare providers can automatically review and reprice a significant percentage of medical bills without human intervention. An exciting opportunity to lead the Medical Business Unit Product Development, Quality Assurance and ASP Services Delivery teams for the Mitchell Medical product line. Responsible for delivery of overall software portfolio and resource management for the Medical family of products. Lead technical staff and resources in multiple projects through all engineering and testing based software development life-cycle (SDLC) phases. Responsible for the effective and on-time delivery of complex, high risk, software development projects and programs. Establish direction, standards and processes while maintaining a high level of trust and confidence with external and internal customers. Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction and deliver high quality, value-added products that exceed customer expectations.

Position Requirements:
The VP of Product Delivery must have a proven record of consistently delivering best-in-class Application Service Provider (ASP) software solutions. Other requirements include:

  • A minimum of 15 years of diversified product development experience with a minimum of 5 years in a significant leadership role over multiple complex projects in architecture for network infrastructure, operation system support, platform management and analysis.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Microsoft solutions.
  • Experience working in high volume, high load, high performance Application Service Provider (ASP) environment, delivering quality enterprise infrastructure solutions with emphasis on accurate data delivery, and data integrity.
  • Demonstrate principled leadership and sound business ethics, showing consistency among principles, values, and behaviors.
  • Proven track record of motivating and managing a diverse technical staff and resources including offshore partner resources.
  • Excellent track record in management of relationships with customers and excellent interaction skills for a 'Big Brand' Computer Software Products and Services.
  • Ability to work in conjunction and effectively communicate with Product Management, Sales, IT, Account Management, and Support to develop, deliver and articulate customer and market driven solutions.
  • Innovative strategic thinker who understands the practical application of technology and will be able to plan and develop new applications to carry the organization into the future.
  • Knowledge of P &C Insurance or Casualty related Software Products or Services.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or relevant programming degree. MBA preferred
