Department

Tools & Equipment - a part of Production Engineering - has grown to become a very important business area to Vestas. Therefore, we are now seeking an experienced leader, who can develop the Vestas Test Strategy to the next level.

The development of test equipment - including fully automated solutions - includes test equipment used globally throughout Vestas production.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Your primary task will be to further develop and implement an offensive growth strategy, which satisfies the needs of our customers. Secondly, you must lead the way to:

• Develop and lead an organization in continuous development, through the establishment of a high performance management team
• Drive the further development of the Vestas Test Strategy
• Optimize business models and related business processes
• Develop and maintain technology & platform roadmaps, supporting the overall Test Strategy

Qualifications and Work Experience

We expect the right candidate to possess significant experience from a senior management position, e.g. in Electronics, HW/SW Development, Automotive or similar industries - preferably from project driven organizations.

Furthermore, you:

• Hold an academic degree (master's degree or above)
• Have broadly founded commercial experience
• A minimum of 10 years leadership experience & ability, partly on a strategic level
• Can present a proven track record in driving changes in a complex organisation
• Visionary and driven by passion
• Are able to communicate clearly and is an inspiration to your surroundings
• Are a team player, thus being able to develop and maintain high performing teams
• Possess deep knowledge of Quality Management tools, preferably LEAN Six Sigma

Additional Information

Your primary work location will be in Hammel, Denmark. However some travelling is to be expected.
