VP, International Sales Solutions / 1960

Position Description:

The VP, International Sales Solutions will be responsible for driving and implementing the strategic direction of business growth across the territory, above and beyond the current business established. He/she will develop strategic plans, develop a pipeline of large scale, big ticket sales offering broad solutions to Ministries of Education, private and public school systems and develop new channels and partnerships, joint ventures. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning internal growth objectives with external market requirements and offer solutions covering technology and print, assessment, professional development, localizations/adaptations into current and new markets.
The successful candidate will enjoy a rare opportunity to grow a division into new channels, products/solutions, capitalize on untapped opportunities and implement strategies from start to finish, with the global leader in k-12 education. There is an opportunity to work on joint venture possibilities with local and global partners.

Qualifications:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans.
• Identify, build and maintain exceptional business relationships with key public and private sector educational stakeholders.
• Identify, build, and manage long term relationships with strategic partners in the industry.
• Identify and evaluate specific business opportunities.
• Initiate and complete proposals, presentations, terms and conditions, negotiations and execution for the acquisition of opportunities.
• Effectively develop and deliver outstanding presentations.
• Work with the senior management team to identify and evaluate new markets for existing services, and other development and marketing partnership opportunities.
• Partner with our HMH sales team in the region and EMPGi to leverage embedded group relationships and networks.
• The position will require significant travel.


Skills and Experience:

Essential
• 7-10+ years in business development, sales and marketing
• Ability to identify long term and sustainable growth strategies
• Strong in proposition development, proposal preparation
• Excellent Financial Modeling and analysis skills
