VP of Internal Audit

A leading and highly diversified Global Reinsurer is seeking a VP of Internal Audit. This individual will be the in charge of all individual audits and leading the team. The main responsibilities will be as follows:

- Independently lead audits under area of responsibility

- Deliver the audit in accordance with professional standards

- Define the detailed objectives of the audit

- Allocate, monitor and review the work of team members

- When In Charge act as the primary contact for auditee management during execution and finalization of an audit

- Discuss and negotiate the audit results with local management

- Draft audit report for review and approval by audit management.

- Ensure appropriate distribution of draft audit report and assume responsibility for collecting management's response.

- Identify development needs of the audit team members and provide feedback.

The successful candidate must possess 7 years or relevant experience. Capital market Audit experience is required.
