A local Farmington Hills, Michigan company who are the leaders in the design and manufacturing of automobile and aircraft  "Mobile Seat Solutions" are seeking a full time Validation/Test Engineer for their busy office. The person we are seeking must have a validation background in regards to Automotive Seating/Safety Restraints.  We are not looking for candidates who have validation and/or a test background in any other product line except for seating!!

Position Overview:

Prepares all protocols and reports for validation work.  Coordinates all validation activities by constant communication with affected departments and personnel; oversees and review validation area processes and procedures. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Responsibilities of the position/job description:

• Coordinates and approves all test instructions, methods, fixtures, and devices.
  
• Issues all testing reports.
  
• Responsible for DVP&R creation, seeks customer approval and maintains revisions.
  
• Customer coordination and seeks all approvals and authorizations.
  
• Write/create testing plan and maintain and report timing.
  
• Issue all internal orders to cover testing, materials, shipping, fixture, and reporting cost.
  
• Arrange and coordinate all witness related activities.
  
• Responsible for issuing certification letters.
  
• Customer meetings and status reports.

The person we are seeking must have a Bachelor of Science degree, over 5 years of experience in the field and possibly have done and/or worked for General Motor's would be a huge plus but not a requirement. Must have good communication skills, both written and oral.

The position is full time, long term with a starting pay rate range of $34-$38/per hour with paid overtime.
