Our client is an established, yet growing, professional services firm and they are seeking a forward-thinking Valuation Manager to lead their Boston based team! The Valuation Manager will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of all aspects of the firm's business valuation engagements. The Valuation Manager will also mentor, train and supervise the valuation team, ensure valuation reports and completed in compliance with valuation standards, stay current on valuation issues, perform lost profit, damages and business interruption calculations, play an active role in new business development initiatives, and maintain client relationships.
To receive consideration for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA and a certification in a valuation / appraisal field such as a CVA, ABV, CBA or ASA.
- 5+ years of valuation experience from within a public accounting and/or consulting firm.
- Proven engagement management experience.
- Strong understanding of corporate and personal income tax laws.
- Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills.
