Records Research Analyst (Adjudication Support)


 


We have immediate openings for both Full Time and Part-Time Record Research Analysts to review criminal history reports and provide general investigative case file support. Specifically, the Records Research Analysts will support the Federal employment adjudication process and be responsible for:  


 


·         Reviewing and confirming the accuracy of all criminal history reports of applicants,


·         Verifying the identification number against court or disposition papers and demographic information,


·         Adhering to the requirements and processes for requesting criminal record for each state and, where necessary, draft pre-employment inquiries regarding the arrest records for management approval, and


·         Maintaining and updating the designated employee files.


 


Qualifications:


Applicants interested in this position:


 




    • Should possess a clearance that includes an SSBI and/or be able to pass a background investigation for public trust position

 




    • Must have law enforcement, employment adjudication, or security background

 




    • Should be familiar with pre-screening tools and adjudicating FBI criminal history reports

 




    • Must have 3-7 years experience in law enforcement, security, or legal environment

 




    • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree

 


Working knowledge of Federal Security Protocol guidelines, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) guidelines, or Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPD), considered a plus.


 


Work Schedule and Location: This position is located in Suitland, MD.


Salary:   Full Time Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000; Part Time Salary Range: Negotiable

Oracle Application Backend Developer


                                                  


We have an immediate opening for an Oracle Application Backend Developer.  This person will support the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and technical support for a Federal Government system. He/she must be proficient in Oracle Web PL/SQL programming language and Java.  They will also develop new program source code, modify existing source code to tune new software application(s), develop Oracle transaction processing systems, load or convert data, and develop and implement code tests.  This person will also perform impact analysis of code and /or system modifications and will be required to originate, review, and finalize system documentation including but not limited to requirements, test plans, logical, data, or conceptual models.  Specifically, the Oracle Application Backend Developer will be responsible for:


 


·         Developing Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Designer, PL/SQL Developer, and J-Developer


·         Developing applications using JavaScript, Java, DHTML, HTML, or XML,


·         Developing in a UNIX environment and delivering UNIX shell scripts,


·         Developing and implementing test plans for systems and software,


·         Writing technical documentation and performing configuration management of existing technical documentation,


·         Migrating legacy systems and data into Custom or COTS solution,


·         Delivering IT solutions for all phases of systems development life-cycle (SDLC),


·         Developing code, or test scripts, for large backend transactional databases, and


·         Performing requirements analysis and/or requirements solicitation.


Qualifications:

·         Experience performing the work described in the above job summary.


·         Experience and proven proficiency in Oracle, Java, SQL, DHTML, HTML, and XML.


·         Experience using automated test tools.


·         Excellent written and oral skills and attention to detail and the ability to multitask.


·         Experience working and collaborating in a team environment with minimal supervision.


·         B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technical degree.

Fingerprint Trainers


 


We have an immediate opening for Fingerprint Trainers.  Fingerprint Trainers must have the interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and clients in a professional and productive manner.  The Fingerprint Trainer must possess ability to conduct training classes and resolve content problems with minimal supervision.  Specific duties include:



  • Conducting (verbatim) fingerprint training class using customized Federal training materials
  • Providing step-by-step training on capturing legible fingerprints, and completing fingerprint cards
  • Conducting training lab for attendees
  • Ensuring classroom preparation

 


Qualifications:


 


·         Must have classroom training experience within past 2 years.


·         Must be Certified Fingerprint Expert.


·         Must have experience in classifying, searching, and filing inked fingerprints.


·         Must have a minimum 5 yrs taking latent prints.


·         Must have knowledge of automated Fingerprint Systems.


·         Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; as well as, interpersonal skills.


·         Must be willing to travel.


·         Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen
