Engineer / Vehicle Development NVH Tech Lead SIR Position

Job Description
The Vehicle Development NVH Tech Lead SIR is responsible for NVH Vehicle Development for all NVH attributes (Powertrain, Ride and Shake, Wind Noise and Operational Sound Quality) on Front Wheel Drive Vehicle programs. Responsible for subjective and objective evaluations, target setting and leading the program key milestones. Resolving NVH issues and presenting vehicle testing results. This work would include both road and chassis dynamometer measurements. Hosting Ride and Drive evaluations for upper management is expected. Travel to our Proving Grounds, Plants and Vendors is also required.

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering
  • Strong fundamentals of vehicle and component NVH
  • Minimum 3 years in NVH testing/development with demonstrated capabilities in solving NVH problems
  • Strong leadership skills to lead team of NVH test engineers
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience with LMS Test.Lab and or Head Acoustics Artemis


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Engineering
