About this Opportunity:

·          Are you looking for a position to utilize your exceptional customer service skills in an environment that requires minimal supervision?  Then the Safelite AutoGlass Automotive Glass Technician Trainee position may be what you have been searching for!

·          Our associates have the opportunity to learn through our very own Safelite University where successful technicians become SafeTech Certified, a recognized National Glass Association certification.

·          Trainees receive state-of-the-art instruction from the industry’s best technicians during their four to six week paid training sessions.  Previous automotive glass experience is not required!

·           Technician Trainee’s start at a competitive hourly rate plus a performance pay piece in addition to the guaranteed hourly rate.

Job Requirements:

·          All applicants must have mechanical aptitude, and enjoy working with their hands.  Our associates will need to have the ability to stand for several hours and work in various weather conditions.

·          Technician Trainees will operate company vehicles, so a clean MVR and a valid driver’s license is a must!

·          Previous automotive glass experience is not required; however, general automotive experience is a plus.

·          Safelite’s Technician Trainees must have previous experience working with the public and have the capacity to provide exceptional and world class customer service.

·          A high school diploma or general education diploma must be supplied upon hire.
