The Verification Specialist will maintain consumer reports requested by clients through established guidelines or requests. Client/ applicant advocate while completing requests within timely manner. Excellent follow through skills, type 35 words per minute, internet literate, telephone etiquette, excellent communication and written skills, excellent customer service skills, data entry skills, computer literate, ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment, ability to meet deadlines, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, excellent organization skills. Research, investigate and verify application records by phone, computer or fax for client companies according to their specifications. This includes but not limited to: Job Records, School Records, and Professional licenses. Review file for accuracy, document information received by phone, computer or fax according to company policy in the appropriate file. Contact applicants/clients/ Client Relations in order to obtain missing information per client policy. Ensure that every file contains the appropriate authorization form. Ensure each file is completed accurately and completely according to the timeframe required by client. Log each file according to company policy- notate throughout contact log/ running journal/ client view notes and internal notes until completion. Other duties as assigned.
