Job Title: AEC Vertical Solutions Sales Executive - REQ # 09000000J5

Location: Greater Boston Area or near Manchester, NH, preferred but flexible (home office).
 
Role/Purpose:
Plans and conducts sales activities to achieve assigned quota for AEC vertical products and services within a defined geographic territory. Generates new business by working to create demand for Autodesk vertical solutions, developing leads, and/or expanding business within existing accounts. 
 
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Together with assigned dealers, follows up on sales leads within assigned areas. Develops long term customer relationships and achieves customer satisfaction goals. Works to identify and influence large owners of the benefits of Autodesk solutions which support a BIM based process.
  • Ensures reseller receives and understands AEC/O industry trends, Autodesk solutions unique business value to our customers/prospects, marketing campaigns and programs and is trained in all areas of vertical products, services and strategy.
  • Recommends Autodesk product and service solutions designed to help prospects/clients achieve their objectives. Assists resellers with providing accurate price quotations based on approved pricing guidelines.
  • Collects and disseminates competitive information to appropriate stakeholders within Autodesk and with resellers. Works to make sure we have a closed loop feedback system with prospects/clients and our development  teams in the divisions.
  • Works with Application Engineers to provide technical product information coaching to our resellers/prospects/ and/or provide timely demonstrations where technical closure occurs.
  • Develops and maintains an accurate quarterly product forecast.
    Assists reseller in developing sales and marketing plans related to the vertical product line and prospect/client opportunities.
 
Education: BA/BS or equivalent work exp.
 
Experience:
  • 8 years of successful selling experience above annual quota plans.
  • In addition to successful track record in direct sales, must have experience and skills partnering and providing sales leadership with channel partners.
  • Must be a talented solutions sales professional, able to understand the customers' business and position Autodesk as a valued business partner.
  • Some experience selling solutions into architectural/engineering/construction and owners is greatly preferred.
