Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Apex Systems has an immediate opening for a Veteran's Affairs Systems Development Specialist in Chesapeake, VA. Collaborates with all team members to document requirements, conduct a market analysis, assess and integrate/develop a replacement for the Veterans Tracking Application (FRC functionality).   Will be the key person for assisting in the interpretation, translation, and analysis of documented requirements into clearly definable, testable, and unambiguous assessible requirements.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 10-12 years experience managing, supporting, providing, and/or reviewing eligibility for Veterans Affairs benefits, including health, compensation, and/or other benefits categories (e.g., Benefits Transition Counselor, Transition Assistance Instrutor, VA Social Worker).

 

Must be able to obtain certificate of public trust (completed NACI and approved finger prints).  

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

Three (3) or more years experience as a Federal Recovery Coordinator is highly desired.
