Position Description Vice President, Digital Integration
Overview: | Fleishman-Hillard has an immediate opening at its corporate headquarters in St. Louis for a Vice President to provide strategic consulting and the hands-on integration of digital solutions into the marketing and communications mix of several high profile clients.
The Vice President will join a team of 30 digital professionals to lead business development efforts and form client teams that deliver measurable ROI. The Vice President will also work closely with social media specialists and communications generalists to ensure a holistic communications strategy.
Working within the fast-paced world of marketing and communications, Fleishman Hillard’s digital team uses design and technical expertise to help our clients reach niche audiences, communities, and markets. The team plans and produces international award-winning sites, social media applications, augmented reality experiences and progressive youth and mobile marketing initiatives. Clients include Fortune 500 corporations, consumer brands, major government agencies, and trade associations. | Responsibilities: | Profile:
• An experienced professional with expertise in applying digital communications solutions within a strategic communications framework. Particular strengths in digital marketing include word-of-mouth/viral campaigns, content syndication, online advertising, lead- and traffic generation, blogger relations, social media and use of Web analytics. • Ability to link digital/interactive/new media strategies and tactics to traditional corporate, public affairs or marketing communications in a logical and compelling manner. • Part strategist, part hands-on tactician, capable of envisioning, leading or implementing as the situation requires. • Excellent relationship skills; good listener; respects the expertise of others; ability to motivate and generate effective action from all levels of the organization. Able to build strong relations with agency clients, account staff, group directors and other senior managers in the firm. • A consummate team player who brings a passionate, positive, high-energy approach to client service and delivering results. • Comfortable in the role of teacher, trainer, mentor. The successful candidate should possess enough hands-on experience implementing digital communications to translate terminology into a language that all can understand. He or she should enjoy training / teaching both account staff and clients.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, package and integrate digital consulting and tactical services within the communications mix of several high-profile clients. • Contribute to the business development efforts for digitally integrated services within the Central region of the U.S. • Participate in key account group brainstorms, strategy and creative sessions, contributing digital/ interactive/new media ideas. • Manage internal digital projects, interfacing with other FH digital operations for work-sharing, knowledge management and standards development. • Serve as an evangelist to support and advise traditional account staff in supporting digital program elements. • Manage projects for on-time and on-budget completion. • Recruit, mentor, and retain digital communications staff. | Qualifications: | • Seeking 8-10 years of digital experience working with clients and developing business within a digital firm, PR agency, or advertising/integrated marketing agency. • An ability to envision and develop holistic, offline and online marketing communications strategy, weaving in digital strategies to drive ROI for clients. • Experience leading teams through Web site development, online applications and digital outbound communications. • Consulting capabilities to translate client business requirements into digital communications strategies and applications. • Ability to develop and implement a digital project management methodology. • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/accounts, manage staff and client relationships and deliver results. • Knowledge of digital and mobile marketing and communications strategy that might include analytics and user behavior. • Working knowledge of basic digital technologies that might include database design, scripting languages, and development environments. • Working knowledge of usability and generally accepted digital user interface guidelines and best practices. • Ability to write clearly and articulate recommendations persuasively • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations.
