The VP/GM of Healthcare will lead Monster’s Healthcare Business Unit in its quest to dominate the healthcare recruiting services market.
 
This is a full P&L management role with responsibility for driving the healthcare strategy and executing the necessary tactical operational activities and business process required to grow Monster’s $20M plus annual Healthcare business.
 
A primary objective is to significantly improve the level of business development with increasing emphasis on enterprise wide solution selling. This will require positioning the sales effort appropriately against new program opportunities. It will also require working closely with senior executives at strategic customers in identifying and shaping transformational changes in healthcare recruiting. 
 
This role is critical to Monster’s strategic expansion in its Healthcare vertical. It requires business leadership that can grasp the opportunity, build the necessary sales and delivery team, and drive sustained campaigns to win. The leader will be a proactive and persuasive champion of the company’s capabilities, helping to elevate and position Monster’s brand and must be able to build and maintain necessary senior relationships for success.
 
Reports To: SVP of Monster Staffing, Healthcare, and Sales Operations.
 
Essential Functions: 
 
  • Working across the enterprise, improve Monster’s Healthcare vertical business strategy and develop and implement operating plans to drive aggressive growth.
  • The ability to understand and articulate the drivers, trends, and directions of the Healthcare market/industry.
  • Insure the Healthcare sales team is comprised of the right mix of top quality sales, delivery, service and technical capabilities to fuel the demands of rapid growth while generating superior customer experience.
  • Develop and implement the business processes that will help the enterprise integrate e-Business capabilities operationally.   
  • Implement employer and seeker marketing strategies and tactics with the support of dedicated healthcare channel marketing resources.
  • Manage the business to achieve agreed upon business goals, including growth, margin improvement, overall profitability, cash flow, sector penetration, customer satisfaction and other key performance metrics.
  • Build and lead a high performance field and telesales sales and service culture with a professional, empowered team that will take and hold a dominant position in the market.
  • Working closely with peers leading other key Monster markets and services, build collaborative and effective internal operating linkages to support seamless sales and delivery of the entire range of Monster services.
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of existing healthcare specific products and services, purposefully reinforcing Monster’s position and image as innovation and technology leader in recruiting and healthcare workforce management solutions.
  • Grow healthcare revenue through the expansion of sales and business development.
  • Provide market insight and industry awareness to help guide the company through a changing competitive healthcare landscape.
  • Will represent Monster as a thought leader/speaker in national/local conferences and events.
 
LOCATION
 
This position will be located in Maynard, MA.
 
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
 
The position reports to the head of Monster’s Staffing, Healthcare, and Sales Operations units. 
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Requires strong experience in Healthcare, Healthcare services, or Healthcare staffing recruitment. Previous background serving this market is essential in order to understand the complexities of the sales process.
  • Successful P&L management experience required
  • Prior leadership roles in sales, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of JCAHO and related healthcare regulations/policies required.
  • Proven history of possessing a visibility to selling into high level. Large scale, complex HC clients with a comfortableness dealing with C-Level sales /decision makers.
  • Clear understanding of the healthcare markets buying habits and online recruitment history and adoption preferences.
  • Possesses awareness to the lack of untapped market for internet recruitment services.
  • Proven ability to drive product/service sales through a traditional untapped, low adoption rate channel.
  • Thorough understanding of the consultative and solution selling selling process.
  • Experience delivering large-scale projects, developing and implementing complex process improvements enabled by technology; a working understanding of the enabling technology will be valuable.
  • A strong history of business growth and development through personal and team achievement; a minimum of 7-10 years of staff management experience with a track record of developing employees and building effective teams.
  • Ability to function as a true partner with peers throughout the organization; someone who possesses the balance needed to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment, while ensuring that appropriate controls and processes are sufficiently addressed.
  • Strong leadership ability and demonstrated coaching/mentoring experience is a must.
  • Provide market insight and industry awareness to help guide the company through a changing competitive Federal landscape.
