Vice President, Marketing Services

About the Job

Overview


The Vice President, Marketing Services is responsible for leadership of the Marketing Services Offerings (Display Media, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media, CRM, and Measurement and Analytics).  They will insure that the Marketing Services team develops high-quality strategies and programs that meet and exceed client business objectives while maintaining profitability goals for One to One. 


Responsibilities:


Team Leadership and Management


·         Establish a point of view and vision regarding the department’s roles/capabilities within the interactive marketing space.  Evolve team organization, skills and services to realize this vision.


·         Manage department staffing levels and skill sets to maximize resource billability while insuring the necessary support available to execute existing and future projects


·         Develop and execute a training plan for the team and manage their career development paths including setting expectations and conducting performance reviews


·         Work with account management teams to appropriately staff projects based on resource availability, project needs, and organizational priorities


·         Monitor the overall satisfaction of clients and account teams with the products and services provided by the department


·         Monitor and manage the satisfaction and morale of people within the department and ensure the companies cultural mandates are infused in the department’s culture


·         Achieve targeted 80% billability on project work


Development and Execution of Products, Services and Related Deliverables


·         Work with team to identify, develop and/or evolve standard deliverables for key repeatable service offerings including documented processes, quality standards and ability to deliver on-time and on budget


·         Determine new offerings based on the evolving digital marketplace or client demand


·         Serve as a quality assurance resource for key deliverables being developed by department


·         Effectively partner with the other service directors to ensure complete integration of products or services which involve multiple departments. 


 


·         Strive to create efficiencies within the department which can lower deliver costs while not impacting the quality of services or products provided.


·         As necessary, develop and manage third party vendors or contractors required to provide products or services to meet the departments delivery mandates


Business Development and Industry Prominence


·         Work with account managers and business development function to support new business pitches or development of RFP responses


·         Collaborate with business development and account management to define and scope new projects including allocation of resources and identification of dependencies and risks


·         Develop points of view on interactive marketing in specific verticals, industry trends, and/or client experiences to share through social platforms and marketing materials while actively representing it externally at trade conferences, in the press and on industry councils


 


Agency Leadership


·         Serve as member of agency leadership team, helping to guide future direction of agency, and development of new products and services


·         Work with other agency leaders to foster cross-team collaboration and the continuous improvement of internal processes to gain efficiencies and maintain high client satisfaction with deliverables


 


Qualifications & Skills


·         Bachelor degree required; advanced degree in marketing preferred but not required.


§  Minimum of 10 years experience  in Marketing


§  Minimum of 5 years experience in interactive marketing.


§  Minimum of 5 years managing, building and motivating teams


§  Recent relevant agency experience required


§  Expertise with direct marketing, media planning/strategy, social media and vendor management/negotiation


§  Knowledge of database marketing/analytics


§  Proven business development expertise


§  Proven leadership ability


§  Proven ability to foster effective client relationships
