We are currently seeking an experienced, results-driven lending professional to join our dynamic team as Vice President of Lending.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing day-to-day operations along with the strategic direction of the mortgage and consumer lending departments, business lending and collections.  This individual will establish and maintain the annual strategic lending objectives, goals and budget of the credit union, implement policy, procedures and lending programs, and recommend new products and services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree; or comparable combination of education and related business experience.
• Requires at least ten years of progressive work experience in a financial institution lending position. 
• Requires extensive knowledge of real estate lending practices and credit granting criteria, as well as state and federal laws regulating the real lending and collection functions.
• Requires professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for communicating with members, visitors, vendors and co-workers. 
• Requires an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to excel in a team environment and work in a collaborative environment are essential.
• Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, detail-oriented, deductive reasoning and problem solving skills. 
• Must be comfortable balancing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Self-starter with strong leadership ability, project management skills and financial acumen.
• Ability to effectively manage, motivate and train staff.
